What is going on in the world through the eyes of God?
A friend recently sent me a video of a little girl who talked about how scary the world is getting, with all the violence, shootings, and hatred she saw in the news. She says “You all need to know that God is watching you. He does not like the way that you are treating other people … We want our world to be good.”
Today, we hear of Joseph’s brothers trying to hurt him and the vineyard owner’s workers plotting against him. God has entrusted us with responsibilities and we must think about accepting them as a way to use our time, talent, and treasure to make the world a better place for all whom we share it with.
What am I doing to be a better self, family member, and citizen during this Lenten season?
