My Words Will Not Pass Away: Family Reflection Video

Holy lives of inspiration

Words of wisdom from renowned convert and sainthood candidate, Dorothy Day.

Dorothy Day had a life just like anyone else - she fell in love, knew politics, had dreams, and lived in a time of change. She herself changed when she converted to Catholicism and made helping the poor her mission.

She inspired and challenged us to examine our commitment to the eternal words of the Lord, with one of the most well known being: “Heaven and earth may pass away, but my words will not pass away.” She is now a Servant of God and candidate for sainthood.

As the year of grace wraps up, how are you living the works of mercy?

I pray today that we make efforts to live in commitment to the Lord.
