I am Father Robert Mathias, C.S.C., Superior of the Province of North East India, happy to be here visiting The Father Peyton Center today. Thank you for joining me as I reflect on the impact of God’s love on our lives.
God does not love partially but totally. When we truly love God, there is nothing that holds us back. It’s a 100% commitment.
Think of a mother who gives totally for the care and betterment of her child without any regard for what she will get in return. Or the Apostles who were so much in love and convinced of Jesus, they went out and started proclaiming Jesus as the Lord. Jail could not contain them. They did not run away. They did not hide. They openly proclaimed Jesus as Lord.
Is there anything holding us back? Do we really love our family members, friends and those we meet throughout the day? Do we feel like we are loving totally with a 100% commitment? Do our actions and words represent to the total love of God in our hearts?
It’s been a great privilege to spend this time with you today and be at The Father Peyton Center. Please keep the families I serve in North East India in your prayers and we will keep you in ours.
I pray you and your family will go out and live the love of God with contagious enthusiasm and zeal! God bless you.
