This is the face of our Lord—not made by human hands but revealed by His divine love. On November 15, 2013, during Mass in Vilakkannur, Kerala, as the priest elevated the Host, a sacred image of Christ appeared. For twelve years, this Eucharist has remained perfectly intact—without decay, without stain—a living testament to His Real Presence.
And now, after careful investigation, the Church has spoken. On May 31, 2025, the Vatican officially declared this miracle authentic, confirming what faith has always known: Jesus is truly here.
In today’s Gospel, Christ prays for us: “Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth.” But truth is not an idea—it is a Person. It is Jesus Himself, the Word made flesh, who dwells among us in the Holy Eucharist.
The miracle in Vilakkannur was never meant to replace faith—but to strengthen it. Sometimes, in His mercy, Christ lifts the veil—just a little—that our faith may be strengthened. As Archbishop Pamplany said: “The Real Presence is a dogma, not a deduction from signs. The miracle does not create the truth—it illuminates it.”
St. Paul warns us in the first reading: Truth will always be attacked. But Jesus, in His prayer, does not leave us defenseless. He consecrates us—sets us apart—in Himself. And He gives us the Eucharist: His Body, His Blood, His very life.
This is the same Jesus who walked Galilee, who died on the Cross, who rose in glory. He is not far away. He is here—on our altars, in our tabernacles, in every Holy Mass. He gazes at you now with infinite love, asking: Do you believe?
Families and friends, this is your mission: To be consecrated in truth, nourished by the Eucharist, and sent as witnesses to a world hungry for Him. Every time you bring your children to Mass, every time you kneel in adoration, you stand before this Jesus—alive, present, and reigning.
Let us pray:
Lord, You have shown us Your face— not to amaze us, but to save us.
Consecrate us in Your truth.
Nourish us with Your Body.
Send us forth in Your love.
May our lives proclaim: Christ is risen. Christ is here. Christ is our hope. Amen.
