We share greetings of Great Joy!

During this Advent Season, as we await with joy the celebration of the Birth of Our Lord, we have long-awaited good news to share with all who love and are inspired by Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C.

Today, we have been informed that our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has declared Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C. “Venerable.”

We are filled to overflowing with joy at this news and want to share it with you right away as you are important to us and we know Father Peyton is important to you!

How exciting and encouraging it is just to write the designation, “Venerable”! This designation represents a rare recognition by the universal Church that Father Peyton is a person of heroic virtue and a life worthy of veneration by all Christians.

In the days ahead you will receive additional news from us about celebrations; however, we do want you to know that we will be offering a Novena of Thanksgiving beginning on January 1.  We are preparing the materials for the novena and you will find them on our website, www.FamilyRosary.org, in the near future.  We hope you will join us in our Novena prayer of thanksgiving.

As you continue to await the celebration of the Birth of Our Lord and delight in the joy of this Christmas season, please count on our prayers for you and your family. I extend our sincerest thanks for your faithful collaboration with us in support to Father Peyton’s Cause and his continuing mission.

May our Blessed Mother Mary keep us all close to her Divine Son,

Father Wilfred Raymond, C.S.C.
