Our Prayers Matter: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

We have been hearing a lot about Jesus healing people this season.

As Jesus travels around, he is healing not just the person he encounters, but the people around them; they begin to grow in believing Jesus came to heal the world. When Jesus says God sends out laborers, the fields of our life are being taken care of. That is, what we often pray for is being tended to.

There’s something each family and person can do: say a prayer. Any prayer you know, or make one up! As we pray, we are the laborers being sent to the vineyard, no matter what, that’s something we can all do with great expectations that God will hear and care for us.

Lord, we ask that you hear our prayers and bless our families this holy day!

How have prayers made a difference in your life?
