Peace Begins at Home: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

Just one point today, don’t worry!

A preacher liked to make the same number of points in his sermons as the number mentioned in the readings that day. So when David used five stones, he made five points. In the seven days of creation, he made seven points. His congregation almost panicked when they heard him mention the one hundred and fifty-three fish!

I only have one point for you today, and that is to listen to Jesus when he says “love one another.” Jesus is the foundation of faith, and families uphold this when they pray. The disintegration of families is one of the saddest crises in our society today, but we can make it better when we stay close and love one another.

What is Jesus calling us to do this day?
