Daily Family Prayer

“On the night of Pentecost, after I had buried the dead, I, Tobit, went into my courtyard to sleep next to the courtyard wall.”

Tobit 2:9

Lord, to bury the dead with due reverence is a corporal work of mercy. This involves our family praying for the dead, participating in the vigil and funeral to comfort the remaining loved ones with words and deeds. Amen.
