“Then he said to them, “The Son of Man is lord of the sabbath.””

(Luke 6:1-5)

Jesus reminds us that He has authority—even over the Sabbath! He desires that we rest not only physically, but spiritually as well. Taking time for God as a family—especially by attending Mass on Sundays—helps us grow closer to Him and to one another. Sunday is a gift; may we use it to pray, rest, and reconnect. Amen.
