“Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive wooden beam in your own?” (Luke 6:41) 

Gracious Lord, the human tendency to always see problems as external to ourselves is great. Help all who believe in You to have the courage to look inside, recognize our faults, and make amends toward others. Amen.
