“Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, 
one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples."” (Luke 11:1-4) 

Prayer begins with a humble heart longing for connection; which is why family prayer is a special way to spend time together. Like the disciple, I often whisper, “Lord, teach me to pray.” Jesus responds with love, offering the perfect prayer—the Our Father. In every word, we find trust, surrender, and intimacy with God. Prayer isn’t complicated; it’s simply being with Him. Amen.
