“"Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you." But she was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.” (Luke 1:26-38) 

 Lord, You are the Word made flesh, welcomed by the Blessed Mother after hearing the message of the angel Gabriel. Mary trusted and heeded the angel’s words: “Do not be afraid.” Calm our fears, strengthen our hope, and teach us to ponder Your will with open hearts. May we, like Mary, rejoice in Your favor and live as faithful servants.. Amen.
