Praying for All Souls: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

They may have been tested by God, but they shall be greatly blessed.

Yesterday’s celebration of All Saints Day is a reminder of the goal of every Christian to one day make it to Heaven and the recognition that it’s possible. Today’s celebration of All Souls Day is when we remember all those who have gone before us. This hope the saints give us is full of immortality.

Earthly death is a necessary passage to the life we all deeply desire and keeping this day holy allows us to remain in spiritual contact with God, keep our relationships alive, and one day reunite with God.

How do you live in honor of the saints? What makes the saints special to you?

We pray for all the souls preceding us today, and for those ready to make the journey to Heaven. May they find peace.
