What if God took 50% interest off your problems?
Anne hired a plumber, but he had a bad day once he got to work. Things kept going wrong, and when his truck didn’t start at the end of the day, Anne drove him home, where he touched the tree outside his house and was transformed into a smiling, happy man.
The man said he deposited his worries in to his “tree-bank,” where God keeps them until the next day, so he does not bring his troubles back to his family.
All of us struggle with different packages that hinder meaningful life, and they can be emotional, material, cultural, or spiritual. As Jesus tells his disciples today, do not let problems in life interfere with being called to do good.
What packages do we have in our lives hindering our relationship with family? With God?
I pray today that we may bring peace and light to those we love and leave our troubles with God.
