Riding Out Tough Waters with Jesus’ Help: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

There’s no question. We humans really need God.

Our life’s journey is a lot like what the disciples experienced in today’s Gospel. Through Baptism we entered the boat, the Church, and ever since have been sailing through life’s waters; sometimes through beautifully placid events and others not so. But at all times, through every storm, we’re never alone. Jesus is with us. And through our Baptism, we’re united to others in Christ, our brothers and sisters.

“Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” These words Jesus spoke are also for you.

We can triumph over our human struggles only through our reliance upon Jesus. What do you need to surrender to Him today?
