How do we know when to speak and when to remain silent?
In today’s Gospel reading Peter proclaims Jesus' true identity and in doing so, his own identity is revealed. Because we also confess Jesus as Messiah, we know who we are and what we ought to do.
There are times when we must speak up and other times when silence is best. I shared some examples of each with you but I’m sure as a family, you can talk about it and come up with more.
Do we find our true identity in Jesus? How does this influence our decisions to speak up or remain silent, as an individual and as a family?
We pray for you and your family each day here at the Father Peyton Center. God bless you!
