Signs from God … Are They Real? Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

“Keep your eyes and ears open for signs from God; they can happen all the time … you just have to be paying attention.”

Our family friend, Father Bill Walsh, used to say that. He would pause dramatically to draw us in and make his point, and I think it’s one God is making today. That burning bush certainly got Moses’ attention, but that was just the beginning. When tasked with what he was to do, Moses wasn’t sure he could handle it.

We have doubts about what is going to happen, what we are to do, and what God has planned for us, so God sends us a sign (or a few!) to get us going. We are pushed to reach our full potential every day … as long as we are open to receiving it.

What signs have you received from God –big or small?

Lord, keep our eyes and ears open for what You are trying to tell us!
