Stay Hidden or Step Forward: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?  |  Return to the Church

There are two types of people…

In the crowds that followed Jesus, there were two types of people: those who stayed hidden in the crowd and those who stepped forward. We know how difficult it is to stand up for our faith among peers, work, school, and maybe even at home. It has been said “Faith isn’t a matter of believing hard enough, but a matter of taking what you believe and putting it into action.”

Jesus teaches us to bring life to others; we may not able to raise a dead person like he can, but we can bring life to others by respecting them and showing kindness.

Are you willing to step forward and put your faith into action today? Do you bring life to those around you in need?

With the same excitement as the woman who touched Jesus’s cloak, let us come before the altar of the Lord, allowing him to heal us and give new life!
