Staying Focused on the Greatest Victory: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

Like any championship winners, we must actively work towards our salvation.

In a similar spirit to yesterday’s message, I would like to reflect on team winnings as well. I’m a big sports fan, but at times we can overdo it and miss out on the greatest victory we will ever win … our salvation.

St. Paul tells us today that we are lights of the world. Sometimes we need to let go of worldly goals of success that divert us from finding our true vocation. If we want to be victorious in this life, and make it to Heaven, we need to be willing to pick up our cross each day.

What gets in the way of our following Jesus? Do we stay focused on following him?

We pray for focused minds today, set on Jesus and the ultimate victory.
