Tapping into the Power of Jesus: Family Reflection Video

Tapping into the Power of Jesus: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity  |  Healing the family

The crowd in the gospel did not know Jesus, but we do know Jesus.

We know there is power in the name of Jesus. We know Jesus has power over evil. If we know He has this power, are we taking advantage of it and the love that he has for us through his ministers?

Father Jilson was telling me about his work in India, where some adolescents had committed suicide because their parents did not give them what they wanted. They had never been denied anything they wanted before, and did not know how to cope with being told “no.” Parents are not ATM machines, they are providers, protectors, are caregivers for the future generations. Jesus has the power to drive out the unclean spirits within us, so long as we are willing to listen to Him and those who want the best for us.

What are some of the unclean spirits that we need Jesus to help us avoid from our lives or from our families today?

God bless you and your families, today and every day.
