The Bread of Life...Not Just on Sundays: Family Reflection Video

Holy lives of inspiration

“To restore all things in Christ.” –Saint Pius X

Communion used to be a not-so-common occurrence. People only received on special occasions, such as Easter and Christmas. Only twice a year! Pope Pius did a lot of work in the church, getting Communion out to many more people, and serving as a reminder that our bodies need food, but our souls need nourishment as well.

Frequent reception of the sacrament brings us closer to God. No matter who you are, the ability to love God and your family can only be strengthened by the bread of life.

What does Communion mean for you? How does Mass influence your outlook?

Let us pray that we may be filled with the Word of God, our daily bread and give thanks! Amen.
