Jesus brings God's transformative love, changing our self-image. In the Gospels, he constantly uplifted individuals. He sees our worth, just like He saw the potential in Matthew the tax collector. Despite Matthew's feelings of unworthiness, Jesus called him forth.

- Modern Day: Pope Francis emphasizes mercy and compassion for the poor, just like Dr. Paul Farmer, who brought medical care to the world's most vulnerable. Malala Yousafzai's fight for girls' education shows the Golden Rule in action—valuing every person's right to learn. Even former President Jimmy Carter, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, embodies service to others.
- Holy People: Mother Teresa treated the dying with dignity, recognizing them as God's children. St. Francis gave up his wealth to serve the poor, understanding the importance of seeing Christ in others. St. Vincent de Paul dedicated his life to those in need, and Dorothy Day championed social justice—all living examples of the Golden Rule.

Now, let's bring this principle home. The Golden Rule means recognizing each family member's worth and treating them with kindness, patience, and love.
