There is no greater gift we could ever receive.
Do we encounter the Eucharistic Lord involving our senses, feelings and memories? Every time we celebrate the Eucharist, we tell the story of God’s saving love for us. We recall the redemptive love of God that culminated in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
Remember Jesus, the “Bread of Life,” who gave himself completely for us and continues to give himself in the Eucharist. The next time you receive communion, take a breath to acknowledge the real presence of Jesus. As Jesus offered himself for us on the cross, so He offers himself in this sacrament to be our food and strength.
Ask Jesus to deepen your faith, understanding, and love for the greatest gift He gives us. And pray for the grace to make His presence real to your family and others.
