The Risen Lord Helps Us to Stay in the Easter Season: Family Reflection Video

Seasonal Reflections

It’s hard to believe Easter Sunday was just five days ago.

Though five days is relatively a short time, it is possible that we might be like the Apostles who reverted to their old ways of life after the first Easter.

We might not notice it but if we start to ‘go back to life as usual’, Jesus is still there with us, walking the path, just as He was with the Apostles when they returned to their fishing business. Even the Apostles struggled in their everyday lives when they thought not of Jesus, but with His direction they had an abundant catch.

How does that apply to our lives? Do you ever find yourself getting caught up in your own business and find yourself drifting away from His direction?

My brothers and sisters, the Lord is risen and He comes to us in a special way to remind us that as Peter professed, “In the Name of Jesus, each person who stands before Him is healed.”

May God bless you and your families today!
