The Transfiguration of Jesus is for Us: Family Reflection Video

Healing the family

The Transfiguration is meant to bring about change in each of us, as well as collectively.

After two horrific mass shootings this past weekend in the United States, I pray there will be meaningful and productive discussion that will lead to actions to impact the future. The contrast between the beauty of life from Jesus and the darkness of evil we face is a massive scale; one that scares us.

On the one hand, we have the life-giving revelation from Jesus that he is our Savior, and on the other, we have the effects of evil upon society. Let us look into ourselves for the goodness and light Jesus inspires and try to reach others with this over violence and anger.

Lord, help our grieving society, the families affected, and inspire peace in the hearts of those who suffer.
