They Went Through the Villages: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

We learned a few things at this conference…

This past weekend was the fifth annual National Encuentro; a gathering that celebrates Hispanic Catholics in the United States. It was wonderful to be in such a positive atmosphere and felt as though we were like the disciples Jesus sent out today.

Jesus did scold them for being so slow to understand all that God was doing in the most exciting time in history, but taught them to work for what was good. We learned a few things at Encuentro, the first being to get out of your comfort zone; we are motivated to go beyond our daily routines. Second: walk with others; we must work together to reach common goals. Third: recognize Jesus is alive! Believe in the Lord’s graces and we will know peace.

How do we celebrate the Lord? Are we setting out to do good, as Jesus asked?

Let us pray this day for the words of God to enter our hearts and minds.
