Thomas’ Skepticism: A Desire for a Personal Encounter Family Reflection Video

Holy lives of inspiration

A personal encounter for all of us…

We celebrate the Feast of Saint Thomas today and with it, we hear a significant message for our lives. Thomas sees the Word become flesh and dwell among the people. Even after death and resurrection, the Word is complete.

Thomas receives a very special grace when he desires to encounter the wounded Lord and the Lord fulfills that desire. The message here is clear: love is stronger than death, God can overcome the worst brutality and be born again. When we are faced with injustice, hopelessness, and pain, think of the Lord inviting us to place our hands on his wounds; inviting us to believe.

What do I look for in my encounters with the Lord?
