When traveling to India, I was talking with some fellow passengers: a Muslim woman and a man who said he was an atheist. The man said he didn’t believe in God because God is the reason for all the violence. This thinking is not new, but it is contradictory. If he blames God for violence, then he must believe there is a God.
Historians have been able to track Jesus in history. He was a real person, who is noted to be where he says he was, as it is written in the Bible. While we can be prejudiced, and sometimes not follow Jesus, we need to have the humility to honor His teaching and guidance.
