Using the Divine Power: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

Who are the significant “John the Baptists” in your life? Are you a “John the Baptist” to others?

Just like it’s not enough to simply hold a microphone, we must speak into it to make our voice louder, it’s not enough to have the influence of God’s Kingdom available to us, we must use it to transform the world.

Today we’re reminded of the great power Jesus makes available to us. Using this assurance from God, the Gospel tells us to use this power, as John the Baptist did, to bring others to Christ.

I am grateful for the many “John the Baptists” in my life that helped bring me to Jesus and to realize the power of God! Spend some time with your family to share who the “John the Baptists” were, and are, in your life.

Blessed Advent to you and your family.
