Oh Lord, how do you put up with us?
In today’s readings, I got to thinking that all the proof we need can be found in God’s patience. We as humanity are such a mess, only a God who is infinitely patient and loving could be God –able to put up with us!
Getting into Ordinary Time may feel like Christmas and celebration are a thing of the past, dimming in the rearview mirror. The parties are over, kids go back to school, vacations are done, but this is when Jesus calls our attention to his mission! He is inserting himself into everyday life so we may enter this time together and renewed.
Are you still letting Jesus in after the Christmas season?
