What Are You Waiting For? Family Reflection Video

Love thy Neighbor  |  Seasonal Reflections

Waiting in line. Waiting to see the doctor. Waiting for a prayer to be answered. One thing’s for sure ... we live in an in-between state.

There is always something we will be waiting for. How do we spend this time? Afraid? Doubtful? Upset?

Advent is a time of waiting too. But like our Blessed Mother who awaited the birth of Jesus, we can be people of faith who make God known and loved by our actions and our words.

Ask God in prayer for the help and the strength to make the most of the many in-between times … including this time between now and Christmas day.

Some questions to talk with your family about … What is it that you’re each waiting on that really matters? How do you think God wants you to get ready for the outcome?

May God bless you and your family during this holy time of waiting and preparing to celebrate God’s coming unto us as a child and our Savior.
