My trials bring me closer to the Lord.
Job had been given many blessings in life, but when they are taken away, he recognizes all he had was at the Lord’s command and does not stop praising Him. A cousin of mine has four daughters, three healthy, and one with a brain difficulty. He told me that he thanks God for all his children and that the challenges he faces with them help him grow in the Lord.
We are disheartened by the storms of our lives, but we must perceive everything positively, for God is only trying to mold us and make us stronger.
What will we do when we are hit by an unexpected trial and feel helpless?
