Mexican actor Eduardo Verastegui was struggling to advance his career. His mother prayed for him to find success in the faith, and he is now a practicing Catholic. Saint Monica’s son left the faith. She prayed for him as he left home, and he was later baptized; alongside his own son.
When our mothers pray for us, they are looking out for our souls and the future. Leading us to deeper faith, a mother’s prayers are never ignored.
