Are We Using God’s Gifts Wisely?: Family Reflection Video

Learn more about our faith

Jesus is convinced of our goodness, even when we don’t act like it.

Jesus often speaks of preparing for the end time, when we join the Lord in the Kingdom of Heaven. He speaks in parables, telling us to be prepared.

What are we doing to prepare so we can enter more fully into the life and death of Jesus Christ? We who are children of the light, who are full of goodness and knowledge, are reminded today to use God’s gifts, the teachings of Jesus, and our Catholic traditions wisely, so as to be welcomed into the home of our Heavenly Father.

How can we prepare as Jesus teaches us? Are we living for our earthly life, or for our life with God?

I pray today that you are preparing for God. May he watch over your efforts and guide you.
