Reflections of Family and Faith
"The family that prays together stays together." - Venerable Patrick Peyton
Christ offers an easy way to sanctity, to loving God and each other. A spirituality a child understands. A spirituality St.Thérèse of Lisieux understood. Relax. Give up striving. Surrender to His love and the love of His mother, Mary, and let it saturate every cell of your body. Then simply let His love flow through you.

A friend of mine recently watched our pets while we were out of town for Christmas. When I came home, I was gifted a few essential items that would prevent me from having to take a trip to the grocery store after 16 hours in the car with people I love dearly, yet had not been further than 10 feet away from for an entire week.

I don’t know about you, but I love those little “life hack” videos that pop up on my newsfeed. Things like putting hot-glue dots on your hangers to keep slippery clothes from falling off or 20 ways to organize junk, using random items around the house. Granted, some of them are pretty ridiculous but most of them come from folks who are way smarter and more creative than I am, so I find myself watching and saying, “Seriously, that is awesome, why didn’t I think of that!”

A few months back, I wrote about how blame used to be a big problem in my marriage.
