Come Follow Me: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

“Come after me” Jesus shouted out to them, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

I prayed asking God that we might see what must be done and gain the strength to do what we have seen. Our baptism is an invitation to follow Jesus, as his baptism gave him a mission to lead others to God.

Many of us know in our hearts what we ought to do, but what’s difficult is the actual doing. When Jesus tells us to repent, he is looking for us to make changes in our lives that will better help us respond to his invitation to follow him.

Jesus is always reaching out to us, how are we reaching out to him?

Lord, help our families gain the strength needed to follow Christ’s call.
