Coming Soon: Museum of Family Prayer!
Opening on September 15, 2019, the Museum of Family Prayer will be ready for you to visit! Never heard of a museum like this? Take a look inside ...
This first-of-its-kind museum showcases immersive, interactive, inspiring, and unique exhibits to share the power of family prayer. You and your family will be able to touch, listen, watch, reflect, and pray in a peaceful environment where all ages and faiths are welcome.
The museum offers an experience of prayer, using digital media for the entire family and will serve as a great destination for pilgrims and anyone looking to learn about faith.
Take a tour of the exhibits to learn about the reach of prayer around the world, reflect in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Chapel, and explore faith in a way you never have before.
Through Holy Cross Family Ministries, the work of Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C. continues, and will be showcased at the Museum of Family Prayer.
Father Peyton spent his life capturing the attention of millions and traveling the globe to promote family prayer as the means to a peaceful, unified world. With a special focus on the Rosary in his own family, he founded Family Rosary in 1942 and then Family Theater Productions in 1947. His mission spanned across radio, television, billboards, and featured stars from the silver screen, always encouraging his message, "the family that prays together stays together."
After his lifetime of work, Father Peyton is now on his way to becoming a saint, having been declared Venerable by Pope Francis in 2017!
During these final weeks of preparation, we ask that you keep the museum carpenters and staff in your prayers and hope to see you during your visit to the Museum of Family Prayer!
