Compassion and Healing are Born from Above: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?  |  Healing the family

Be filled with good from Above!

In listening to Nicodemos speak with Jesus today, we might not realize the depth of their conversation. Nicodemos was a Pharisee, a leader among the Jews who upheld religious law and was supposed to look down upon Jesus as a heretic. Instead, he was intrigued by Jesus, listening to him talk about the laws that come from above and below.

To be born again, to be born from above in simple terms, means to have Jesus in our lives and to have life in Jesus; to model our lives on the words and actions of Christ.

How do you see Jesus? How do you follow him and his ways from above?

As we gather for prayer today, remember to pray for people or events subject to attitudes that come from below. Ask the Lord to bring them healing and compassion.
