Encouraging Words: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?  |  Love thy Neighbor

Does anyone among us have a word of encouragement to share with others today?

In today’s first reading St. Paul wants us to know that God is interacting with us. He also reminds us that God is not acting alone. Every time God helps his people, he is relying on people to help him carry out the work of building the Kingdom. At every turn, people were essential partners in carrying out his mission. God chose to make himself known through us … our hands and feet serving as God’s hands and feet.

Did someone brighten your day or help lift a burden from you? Did you ever think that God encouraged the heart of that person to do so?

Did you ever get a strong feeling like you have to call someone? You’re not sure why. You just know you have to call them. Do you feel God was encouraging you?

When we pray alone or with our families, we must pay attention. God provides us words of encouragement that we can, in turn, share with others.
