Faith that Heals: Family Reflection Video

Faith that Heals: Family Reflection Video

Nothing would stop them from getting close to Jesus!

When Jesus saw their persistent faith, He forgave the sins of the paralytic.

Why didn’t Jesus cure the man of his paralysis? Maybe in the mind of Jesus what the man needed first was to be free of the bondage of sin which crippled him before addressing the man’s physical healing.

Our part is to bring our needs and those of others to Jesus with the faith that He will provide the healing most needed.

Clearly Jesus appreciated the enthusiasm and the active faith of the men who brought the paralytic to him. In contrast there were others in the temple that day who just sat there, complained and found fault. They, in fact, were the ones who were paralyzed.

Let us remember in our prayer today to affirm our faith in Jesus by bringing him the needs of our world, our church, our families and ask him for both spiritual and physical healing.
