Family Reflection Video: Allow Us to Live Together to a Happy Old Age

Marriage  |  family

Join me for a great reflection about the strength of a special patron, a woman married seven times, and a simple prayer to God.

“And Lord, allow us to live together to a happy old age.” These powerful closing words of Tobiah’s prayer in today’s reading, along with the short anecdote about a woman and the loss of her son, encourage us to seek comfort in Archangel Raphael’s guidance.

If you are worried about a family member, particularly any young man, invoke the assistance of the Archangel Raphael for protection over them. Pray together with your family:

Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael,

great prince of the heavenly court,

you are known for your gifts of wisdom and grace.

You are a guide of those who journey,

consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners.

We ask you, assist us in all of our needs

and in all the sufferings of those we love,

as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels.

Because you are the medicine of God,

We humbly pray that you heal our souls

and the many ails that afflict our bodies.
Amen.
