Family Reflection Video: Christ Seeks Progress Not Perfection

From a soft-spoken question hidden by darkness to courageously preaching His word, we see the line that extends from fear to boldness in today’s Scriptures.

Just like Nicodemus, we’re all at different places in our faithful journeys. God doesn’t expect us to start out perfect. He is patient and waits until we are ready to be born again and openly receive the Holy Spirit. How can you and your family help each other on your progress to perfection?

Father Leo Polselli, C.S.C. is Chaplain at the Father Peyton Center in Easton, MA. Before coming to Holy Cross Family Ministries he served as a teacher and a parish priest. He also served for six years as a General Assistant of the Congregation in Rome, Italy. Originally from Fall River, MA, Father Leo grew up with eight siblings. Gifted with several languages, he is able to serve the Brazilian, Cape Verdean, Portuguese, Spanish and Haitian communities.
