Family Reflection Video: Clothe Yourself with Humility

peace  |  trust

Wouldn’t you agree it’s easy to get wrapped up in who we are, what we do, where we are and what we have achieved?

Everyone across the world is engaged in the same daily struggles that prowl about our minds. We’re assured in today’s first reading that the resurrected Jesus will restore, confirm, strengthen and establish us. Remain firm. Clothe yourself in humility. Don’t think of yourself as less of a person because of your struggles, rather think about yourself less.

How can you remember to clothe yourself with humility when you wake up every morning? Look up or create a short prayer you can pray as a family to seek humble hearts.

As you and your family help each other find humility, you will start thinking more of others and the wonders that God has in store for those who believe. God bless you.
