Family Reflection Video: Day To “Be”

Family Reflection Video: Day To “Be”

If we are not interested in others, it can be a source of our unhappiness.

Sometimes we focus more on the strict implementation of the rules to the extent that life-giving relationships are endangered. Pope Francis told the story of a mother coming to the church to baptize her child as an example of insisting on protocol instead of seeking to meet spiritual needs.

In our own families, let us think of others first … choose sacrifice for ourselves and mercy for others … be ready to judge ourselves and excuse others.

What are Sundays like in your home? Do you make sure to find time to be in the presence of God and your family? Discuss this as a family and if you think you could make some improvements, commit to just one idea and see how it changes things. Let us know too! Your idea could help other families.

May God bless you. I pray your new idea for Sundays will fill you and your family with God’s love and grace! Peace, my friends.
