Family Reflection Video: God Speaks. Do We Listen?

Family Reflection Video: God Speaks. Do We Listen?

faithfulness  |  strength and hope

How familiar are you with the promise that God has made to you? It is a living document and not meant to be placed in a box for safe keeping.

We need to engage God in conversation on a daily basis sharing with him our concerns and anxieties in much the same way that Abram did. And like Abram, we need to listen to God when he speaks to us.

Every day we are bombarded with a lot of information and a lot of it does little to nurture the soul. Some even kills our spirit. Not so with Scripture. When you and your family read a passage from the word of God, you allow God to speak to you. Try it! Let us know what happens.

I hope you will have a conversation with God today. You can bear your soul to him … and also have a shoulder to cry on. “The Lord remembers his covenant forever.” Psalm 105:8.
