Family Reflection Video: Grandparents of Jesus

Be ready to plant the seeds God sends, so they may grow and produce fruit!

Jesus tells the parable of the sower of seeds. Seeds that land on poor soil do not live to thrive. Seeds that land in rich soil flourish and grow deep roots! Growth can only sprout if the base is solid.

As families grow, through marriages and children, strong bases are formed to grow the faith. Each one of us is entrusted with the Word of God. As missionary disciples, it is our great responsibility to be good stewards of these “seeds” and plant the faith to grow in others. This “sowing” process continues on in families generation after generation.

Some questions for you and your family to think about: Are our hearts open and ready to receive God’s Word? How do we spread the Word of God like seeds to those around us?

May your family’s hearts be open to receive … and ready to sow!
