Family Reflection Video: His Eyes Opened and He Recognized Jesus

Family Reflection Video: His Eyes Opened and He Recognized Jesus

trust  |  Reconciliation

Today I share a simple story of a man with a faint heartbeat of faith who walked into a confessional to experience Christ’s forgiveness.

Similar to today’s Gospel story about the Appearance on the Road to Emmaus, this man’s eyes were opened and he recognized Jesus through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Discuss this revelation with your family. Can you relate? Is there someone in your life who needs a little encouragement?

Let’s close together in prayer:

Heavenly father,

through the obedience of Jesus,

Who offered His Life in the service of all,

help us with Your Kindness.

Make us strong through the Eucharist

and Your Forgiveness.

Protect each of us with Your Love

and prepare us for eternal happiness.

Amen.

May God continue to bless you and your family.
