Family Reflection Video: How to be Happy

Family Reflection Video: How to be Happy

grace  |  disciple

Jesus calls all disciples to embody and commit to these attitudes of the heart.

The attitudes of gentleness, peacefulness, meekness, simplicity, mercy, purity, justice and honesty are all outlined in Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. These are the values we should seek to live out every day, especially in our relationships with others.

I encourage you to read the Beatitudes with your family because they outline the meaning of happiness and how to attain it. Is there anything preventing you from experiencing true happiness? If so, how can you have a fresh start today?

Let us close in prayer:

Lord, we believe that living your beatitudes

causes us to become an explosion of joy.

As a family, when we practice works of mercy,

we feel immense delight.

Help us not to falter in living each day with mercy.

Amen.
