“As ‘Keeper of the Gates,’ it is my duty to inform you that you must score a thousand points before you can pass through these Gates of Paradise,” Saint Peter said. “So tell me about your life on earth …”
It is only by the grace of God that we came into this world. Jesus knows each one of our needs, merits and faults. He loves us just as we are, with all our limitations. The grace of God means He is saying, “Do not be afraid! I am for you and I am with you. I will never abandon you.” But this gift of love is only ours if we reach out and accept it.
Gather your family together in prayer and reflect on God’s grace. Do you see it working in your family life? How can you reach out and accept it?
It’s always a pleasure spending faith-filled time together with you. Let’s close together in prayer through the intercession of our Blessed Mother:
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
