Family Reflection Video: Is Lent a Complete Bust this Year?

faithfulness  |  lent  |  acceptance

What grade would you give yourself for keeping up with your Lenten promises this year?

Whether you’ve come to this point in Lent full of joy and peace for accomplishing all you hoped to offer the Lord or you’re beating your breast because you’ve missed a lot of markers along the way, it’s not too late to join forces with Jesus.

With one week left until Good Friday, reflect on your Lenten journey with your family. No matter where your family reflection leads, remember that Lent is the Church’s invitation to cling to Jesus as the Rock of Our Salvation. Jump on His bandwagon and shout, “I love you, O Lord, my Strength, O Lord, my Rock, my Fortress, my Stronghold” (Psalm 18).

Listen to the inspirational Christian hymn “How Can I Keep from Singing” and settle yourself into the comforting message. May God bless you and your family.
